I am looking to start the same business as scrap agent where one of my friends is getting me few buyers, so I am planning to buy scrap from the sellers and sell it to these buyers. I would like to know more about this. First thing is whether this way, will it work out? And the next thing is will the buyer buy the scrap from me for the price I quote, where I sell them by taking my margin. Suppose I take for 10 rupees, I will have to sell for 15 to get my margin, but why do they take from me for 15, when they get these for 10 rupees directly from these scrap sellers, as I give the only extra service is the transportation and get the scrap from anywhere to their location. One more thing is whether the buyer takes it in grade and quality wise, will that affect the pricing. I would expect a fruitful reply and help from you to clarify my doubts.
