- Advertising and marketing plan
Pick a name for your health food store and file your chosen business name to allow you to operating your own business legally.

- hi, we are not open yet but we have been planning our business for 3 years. the licenses we need for our area is a soda license, sellers permit and permits for taxes on employee wages. a budget for a store is hard to say... depends on what you want to sell in your store, for instance dairy, produce, and dry goods. we will have all in our store plus prepared coffee products and prepared ice cream products. to give you an idea of what some of our costs is $32,000 for food $4,500 for packaging and $8,500 for equipment. forecasting a parts of cashflow and profit/ loss sheets are difficult if you have never done this type of business before that i know. for instance it is easier for me to do those sheets for a restaurant but not a store. but i do understand the cost of goods and mark up.
