@Joyce Oppong, Joyce--- In MD Now, you need a Licensed Representative to get a packet from the MVA. I would find someone in the business that has an Instructor License to go and ask to have a packet mailed to you. If need be, I know several operators in your area that can get you a packet. STeve

Hi. Most States require you to take a 20-60 Hr. course from the State to be approved to teach teens Some also require:
* (50) State FBI Fingerprint and Background Check
* Surely Bond
* Packet-- including Corporate Charter, List of Partners
Good news is that SOME States will allow you to teach as a 'Provisional Teacher' while you earn. I might even suggest that you teach PT over the Winter so you can get a 'sense' of the business, or, potentially Partner with other like minded Teachers, or, Driving School owners.

1) What paper work do I need to have as I'll be the instructor myself
2) what points must I make sure they are in my business plan
3) if my license is less than 5years would that be a problem in obtaining the proper paper work required to be an instructor lastly, I have a code 10 license but I'll start with code 8 vehicle then work my way up to code 10, what requirements must the vihecle have, can I start with a Toyota Yaris?
