on the commercial radio, you need to get a lic from I& B, based on the tenders...it has standard procedures...security deposit, EMD, quote for floor value, bandwidth allotment for the concern territory...if you are not aware of the complete paper work you need to appoint a consultant. you have to win the bid to establish a commercial radio.

Here nobody having any knowledge to suggest or tell anything about how to start FM station in small town. I did some research and found that we have to participate in auction conducting by government to get license. before that we have to register our company. So that we can go for biting in tender which will be conducted by Govt. monthly twice or some time for specific regions. For biting we have to pay 50% of the amount as pre booking through DD. they have allotted the amount as per city garde Like A,B,C,D. for D grade min. Population should be 1-3Laks.
