@komal, starting a tile manufacturing business in Jaipur is as like as starting this unit anywhere else in India. You will need few clearance from state level, like pollution, society. You will need electry permission from the local office, register the business. etc..

@gangadhar, tips on location. don't pick a place where you have to pay more towards the land cost. Avoid the places that are in and around populated areas. you should have road and electric connections to the location.

@Sunil, you can start a manufacturing business but you need to figure out what to start. It is very different than trading because you can close a trading business any time but not a manufacturing plant. If you start one then you need to figure out where is your market local/international. If it is local then do some market survey, if it is international then try to find some buyers upfront and look for possible opportunities before you even put your first stone.

Dear Sameer, Ashim ,Greetings for both of you .It takes around 20 crs to start a tile mfg unit with capacity of 5000 sqm per day .This include machinery , Ball mill , Spray drier , Hydraulic press, Glaze line , kiln, and polishing machine if it is vitrified tile plant.
