For a medicine wholesale business you have to have either self experience as a sale man in some medicine firm fro not less than 3 years, or you have to hire a competent person who has this experience with required certification. A premises of not less than 120 sq ft a refrigerator for storage of sensitive drugs at optimum temperature, racks for storage . You have to apply for a license on the prescribed forms along with a challan of Rs 3000/- to the local drugs control dept of your District. which will inspect the premises and issue you the license. for conducting sale you will also need a Saletax Number from the Excise and taxation dept of your dist. Investment is dependent on the amount of business you want from 5 lacs to 50 lacs.
