Hi Glad to meet many interested people here. I am Kim from Korea who is in battery rebuilding/restoring business mainly for industrial batteries( deep cycle). We saw many problems with automotive battery rebuilding such as difficulty of identifying the battery state before and after restoring. We offer extensive training courses of 3-4 weeks on job sites also. If y0u are experienced in battery area and have capital to invest,we recommend you to be in industrial battery NOT in car/truck batteries. Automotive battery area seems not profitable contrary to your general discussions.

I am currently selling new car batteries at my shop and I'm interested in using old/trade-in lead acid batteries to be reconditioned and refurbished for reselling purposes on small scale at the beginning But I have problems finding the necessary 'simple lead item making moldings' and the replacement positive and negative lead plates & separators for replacement of partly damaged cells. Normally suppliers of these plates only deal in large quantities, but I only need a small amount of these items, to begin with. Could you help advise me on these problems like to recomend where to find all these items so that I can start with reconditioning and small scale manufacturing car battery like what I've seen in videos from Pakistan & Nepal.
