    hi, i am from south goa and i have planned to set up garment stitching unit which will cater industrial, hotel, hospital, school uniforms, and other work places. basically shirt trousers and t- shirts. We intend to take work either with material or only stitching. We have acquired 1200 sqmt building in industrial zone in south goa. so also we have contacted mahala machines mumbai for supply of machine and project report .after manufacturing orders we plan to stitch readymade garments for low and middle class people. We will take the costing for setup from mehala machines if you could suggest some tips for setup we would be highly obliged as we are planning to start on low scale basics our only motto to manufacture readymade garment is to fill the gap when we dont get orders on continuous basis.     @yamunasaraswathi, Please understand tailoring and manufacturing business, First ideologically what is your requirements, marketing is not a issue, you have to have skilled labour and quality machinery(specialized). These all will happen when you come across with idea to start a unit and basic investment, there are certain people started with 20 machines to 200 machine set up now a days with patience and steady work improvement , efficiency, delivery schedules and customer relationship, a satisfied customer is a repeated customer. You need to understand from you what will the initial investment and how to get unit success with effort and real good technicians.

    Hi, I am from Guntur AP, we would like to start a small scale industry which we can do individually/team with a small amount. Like manufacturing the cotton cloths etc.
