    I live in the Metro area of Kansas City, Called Blue Springs MO. I plan to start a taxi business in the next coming month. I have done my research plan to get permits insurance, and other necessity. But I still feel I don't know the abc of taxi driving. I drove a metro bus for years and simply put I would like to have a independent taxi company set up like a rental car or limousine service. where the cab is in use not wasting time a gas driving around. and also on a online reservation list or text message list for availability, is there some way to tell what the cost is by some software to with the customer can prepare for services.     hello sir i see that you have multiple questions on your site here and was wondering if i could possibly ask you a question about a taxi meter i recently purchased from ebay this meter seems somewhat old and is a rmi-1500 it does not have the printer on it and not even sure how old this meter is can it be used if its really old how old does a meter have to be in order to use it i live in the state of washington and cannot seem to find proper requirements to help me out can you please help me thank you i will send a pic of the meter if this will help

    @tommy gardner, it is risky. Why you want to take chances? Better you contact the local DMV office to make sure if that meter can be used or not.

    Tacoma, Washington. USA. In King County, you have to buy someone else's medallion. They are not cheap. In Seattle, it takes 15 licensed cabs to be a company.
