Subway is a well-known sandwich restaurant and is successful. A Subway franchise is for individuals or entrepreneurs who want to start their own sandwich restaurant but are hesitant because they are afraid of their possible future competitors.

You should always bear in mind that you will reap the fruits of your hard work.
In buying Subway franchise, you have two options; either buy an existing restaurant or establish a new one. The advantage of buying an existing restaurant is you do not need to do major renovations. But the disadvantage is if the previous owner was not successful, chance is that you will also have the same experience if you will just follow his or her footstep that is why you should study first whether that certain restaurant has a profit potential or not.
There is no franchise company that wants its franchisees to become unsuccessful, this is one reason why Subway requires all qualified franchisees to take the 2-week training program and should pass the exam before even purchasing a Subway franchise. There are several locations wherein a classroom-training is conducted; this includes Miami, Montreal, some places in China, Germany, and India. Hands-on training is as well included in the training program.
If you have already made up your mind and decided to actually purchase a Subway franchise, the first thing you have to do is to fill out an application form and let a Subway representative conduct an interview with you. You will then have to choose a location for your Subway franchise, after you have signed the agreement, Subway will start fabricating your store right away if you did not buy an existing restaurant.
