    sir, i am ayush agrawal from majhgawan gram panchayat a small town, distt. Satna, state mp. I want to build up a school for providing better education. For rural areas students in majhgawan tahshil their are 96 something gram panchayat and their are no cbse school near about 30 to 40 km area. And near my town chitrakoot parliament their also no any cbse school it is near about 35 kilometer from town. I want to build a dps what i do to open a school.

    We have 84000 sqft land area at Seherakuri locality which is 6 km away from Siuri . Siuri is a head quarter town of Birbhum District of WEST BENGAL. A govt. aided Primary school & a high school is situated here within 100 mtrs from the projected land area. At least 20000 people lived here. BIET , ITI & a Polytechnic college are situated within 2.0 km. from the projected school site. Nearly 1.3 lakh people lived in Siuri. So, this place will be a very helpful for the children to read in DPS school. Not a single DPS school is present within the Birbhum District.     I fail to understand why people here are looking to start with a franchise of DPS and not start an institution that can make their own name. The idea is not to malign any brand name but this is to show how much people lack entrepreneurship. Few reasons I can think of behind getting big brand names for schools are:
    1. Brand name according to them can be used to get more students quickly and hence better business, remember not better education.
    2. It shows a follower attitude of the person and clearly shows that they lack leadership. Is it okay if we call them losers!
    3. Quick money, more numbers, more respect in the society through brand association - Are they heading towards better education?
    What is better than simply getting any brand franchise:
    1. People who have passion for quality education should favor starting their own name. Remember, you are not a loser and can make your own mark in education through your efforts and better and quality education.
    2. Brand does not brings any substantial change to the education system, It is the teachers, the local school management, and the environment which plays a vital role in building quality education system.
    3. Any brand name itself cannot guarantee the education system to be at par with the best ones. Had it been so, government might have tagged all engineering colleges to IIT, all medical colleges to AIIMS and all management institutes to IIM.
    I hope people who look to start any institution whose objective is to build better citizens for tomorrow to focus on quality, and not look only on the business prospects. It is better to believe on your own ability than to rely on someone else, and simply follow them. If this happens, it is not distant that the world will be void of big thinkers and quality in education will become a dream.
