The Delhi Public School, despite its misleading name, is not only a school that is offered in Delhi but in several other countries as it is a nonprofit making organization that offers quality formal education to its students.

The Delhi Public School was first established in 1949 in New Delhi at Mathura Road.

It has been offering education to the children of India and deserving children abroad for the past 60 years and there is a total of 128 schools run by the DPS Society with 7 in the New Delhi region, and 100 in the other parts of India with 21 in foreign countries including Kuwait, Nepal, Singapore, UAE, and the United States. It is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education and recognized by the department of education and the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. It is also affiliated with the Indian Public Schools Conference and the National Progressive Schools Conference.

The Delhi Public School franchise offers quality learning based on the Delhi Public School society. This includes the active learning principle which is brought about by the expression of physical, spiritual, cultural, emotional, intellectual, aesthetic, and social development of its students.

Every child deserves the educational opportunity and the Delhi Public school does not deny any child that right, therefore leading it to further expand on its franchising and therefore its cause to offer quality education for the Indian Society and other deserving children in foreign countries. There are several branches of the Delhi Public School available and to consider the franchise would mean considering one of the locations for the franchise. It is best to submit your credentials directly to the Delhi Public School Society and consult with them regarding your potential location for the establishment you plan on opening.

Since there are several Delhi Public Schools available it would be best to directly contact one of them to consider franchising options. Make a draft of what you plan on doing with the franchise and be able to come up with an agreement on how to run the establishment. Though it is indeed a franchise, as the owner you will still have the jurisdiction to run the place according to what you see fit as long as the management of which abides by the franchise agreement. With this in mind, you will want to make a list of your goals both long and short-term goals. Also, decide on the organizations and other partnerships you may want to consider as a franchise owner. The franchise deal will cover the school system and curriculum and is not very particular with the design or architecture of the establishment.
