Hi Arpit. for opening retail shop you need Diploma in Pharmacy certificate without that thy don't give any License. Better you arrange some one certificate giving monthly 3000rs to that guy for certificate and take License. FOR WHOLESALE NO CERTIFICATE NEED JUST ANY DEGREE CERTIFICATE.

Madam for new pharmacy you need just 1 lakhs enough for You because you don't Purchase all medicines you put medicines you require And Also all wholesale Distributors give you minimum 15 days credit with 2% discount it really helps you.. and also while purchasing medicines just you purchase small quantity because if you put order with in half a day distributors deliver medicines. And also for margin Better madam you go with Generic up to 40 to 50% margin definitely.

i am searching suitable location for my drug store in my city=Raipur ,chattisgarh.i have selected some location but there are some doubt
1. A monopoly store is already there doing VERY nice but i DOUBT I can compete there already 2 store are closed before
2. one more place where there are many store are there doing well.
3. third place is very potential as per mine view but it has a rural population and less prescription market
