Hi. Plz read this carefully and respond. I am Ajaib Singh. I am interested in film-making and specialises as a script writer. By profession I am Assistant professor at Sri Venkateswara college of University of Delhi. These days it has become very hard to raise finance to make our ambitious films. Established production houses seem to keep freshers like us on the outskirt always. So I have come up with a plan which could help us. Hopefully it can work. We can make a team of 20 genuine people who are passionate about film-making (But they should be honest and with high IQ level. They can be doing other jobs also. If all of them can contribute at least 2 lakhs it will generate 40 lakhs which can make a decent film along with good distribution. If the film can generate at least 20 crores each of 20 investors can get one crore each (that’s minimum). With that money they can make their next films independently or as they wish. Let’s say even if there is loss it would be of two lakhs only not of millions. But that should not happen. Because at every step there should be quality check and only a wonderful script should be chosen. If you like the proposal and want to be part of such a team please respond. We can make a blockbuster this summer and realise our dreams. Regards and best wishes.
P.S: You know making short films or low quality films (with less money) will never help anyone succeed. They are waste of money and time. And a known face from industry is important as actors otherwise no one sees the film. So please think.
Code of ethics:
1 All the team-mates will be treated as investor. They will not ask to be a part of cast or crew initially but if they are found up to standard they can be considered by vote of majority.
2 Team –members can put forward their scripts. But they will not insist. A script can be chosen again by voting system. In case no script is chosen scripts can be invited from outside writers.
3 No one will give suggestions.
4 Only professionals will be hired.
5 No ego clashes and only cordial people are encouraged to form a part of team.
6 People who are doing some jobs are highly preferred because they are self dependent at least and can finance themselves.
7 Two lakhs is the minimum amount of investment.
8 No leader will be considered. Twenty members will be like jury and voting system all the time.
9 Long term friendships and partnerships are the visions.
