I am Ananda Chowdhury, a Canadian citizen living in Toronto since 1989. I am a Bioscience graduate from India and attained a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Germany. I had a great ambition to study medical science and become a medical professional, however at that time while residing in Bangladesh; I missed that opportunity due to the war. Since childhood, I had a plan to provide medical service in my local area where I was born in a village of Chittagong, Bangladesh, which is now well populated and becoming more industrialized. It has very accessible roads and only 10kms from the city. There aren’t any reputable medical facilities available within a radius of 15 square kms. There is a large community of people suffering from lack of good medical care and medicine, people of poverty are dying frequently and most have to travel long distances for even minor ailments.

Now I am planning for early retirement from my own profession in Canada and commencing my plan to build a local hospital in my native village in Bangladesh. I own a couple plots of land, which I am willing to invest into, to build a 100-bed hospital.
