    @Hemant Goel, Are you planning to set up PP Corrugation line yourself or buy sheets and convert them to make boxes. You can source PP sheets but that depends where you are setting up your unit. Try to source automatic box making machines so that you can achieve quality and automation. Unfortunately you have to depend on China for your machines as nobody manufactures in India.

    @David, Go to any grocery near your house .Check the number of items packed in sachets . for ex : 1-2 RUPEE RETAIL PACKS OF SHAMPOO, SHAVING CREAM, FACE CREAMS, TOOTHPASTE, HAIROIL, PICKLES, SURF ,MASALAS , GINGER -GARLIC, etc. Just think of a daily use product and plan to manufacture retail packs of it. for ex : Rice , dals, vegetable oils, agarbattis, camphor, vegetables, fruits, etc. Your success will surely dependent on: 1. uniqueness of product
    2. use of product.
    3. pricing
    4. good printing
    5. source of raw material
    6. competition pre and post launch.

    1. is thermocol and E.P.S. (Expandable Poly Styrene) the same?

    @SATISH, Disposable cups are made through extrusion & thermoforming. 1 sheet line will feed 2 TFMs with dies. Output will be 150 kg/hr. Price for good machinery will be Rs.150 lacs including electrical and ancillaries and printing. water and liquor is the biggest market for cups. Also icecream, dairy products use cups in a big way.
