    Those of you looking to start a scrap metal business and have some money to invest and want to start quickly I have the connections to make this happen. I am currently working directly with a major buyer for the Chinese and Taiwan market. This buyer will buy all the scrap I can find. Problem is there are a lot of crooks in this business and time wasters. I have connections from the Carribbean to S. America but need the operating capital to physically visit these locations and negotiate with the sellers. One example is a small ship scraping business in the Dominican Republic, family owned but needs some capital to expand so as to increase their volume. Could go on and on here about the vast opportunities but I'm just looking for a financial partner or investor. If your looking to take 50% of the business because you invested some money then go somewhere else. But if you want to make 20,30 or even 40% return on your investment then that would be possible.     My location is in the philippines. I have started buying scrap materials (assorted) from my neighbors almost 4 months already. Most of the time, they deliver it personally at my place. I then deliver my accumulated scrap stocks at one of our local junkshop store (a middleman) in our area. Scrap collection is a good business thats for sure. My problem are; I have difficulties expanding my business due to short or lack of capital to start with. At the moment i can only entertain small scale delivery such as metal, plastic, etc. But my frequency of delivering my scraps collection to our local junk shop is 3-4 times a week. How i wish to have my collection delivered directly to the buyers inorder to get a better price. Please advise on how i can improve and expand my scrap business. thanks for the very informative and helpful tips.

    I am looking for an investor with $25,000 to $50,000 to travel and locate legitimate scrap dealers. I have the international buyers but need to get out and meet the sellers, real sellers. Realistically your investment can be returned within 3 months and the opportunity to make a six figure income for years to come. The scrap metal business is booming right now and is expected to remain so for several years to come.     Hello everyone, this advice goes to all new scrap buyers and dealers, do not pay any form of advance fee to anyone you are just doing business for the first time. Adopt favorable in terms that spell out clearly buyer and seller's responsibility. And make sure the scrap yard does not just exist, but the materials have a proof of ownership. My regards.
