    I am interested to learn more about licensing requirements for starting a scrap metal business in South Carolina. I would also like to know what government funding is available (grants, etc) to assist in offsetting start-upo costs.     I noticed while I was in a scrap metal yard that there were people from China and India negotiating to buy the large cubes of metal to export back to their country. Is the metal cheaper here or is it better quality? I have many contacts in the metal industry in south america, and was thinking of importing metal into the USA. The dollar is very strong vs their peso. What would be the right way to approach this idea. I would like to know if we,in the USA buy metals from other countries, and if we do; mostly from where.     I'm new to the scrap metal business I want to import to the US metal scrap HMS, used rails, and other scrap metal. And Find buyers for these commodities I heard that China and India are good buyers. I have available 30 acres in South Texas to used as yard if needed. Any one with information on how to sell the scrap metal for high profit or information on how to buy and sell metal scrap. I do have international supplier of metal scrap. Partnership are welcome.
