    @Mauricio Estrella, I am not sure I understand your question. What kind of scrap do you want to export? What kind of a company do you want here with scrap. I am not sure if you understand Buying the metals in Mexico might be less money and I am not sure how much You want to bring here to the Bay area. Are these non ferrous metals ,are they Clean or dirty metals ? Maybe you pay a lot less in Mexico and then you could Arrange to sell direct to the dealers .This way they can strip the copper wire or sort and clean them to fill their sales. That is your best option because today Operating a scrap company on an industrial lot is not well liked by the non profit Clean air people and water compliance .The leases and the insurance and Equipment is going to cost. Find a middle broker here to go the yards and make All of the arrangements. Some of the non ferrous metal scrap dealers Should be In the yellow pages. Here are a few.They will non ferrous and scrap.

    Dear sir, I have been in Dubai since 2009, i have a partnership in a scrapyard in Sharjah, UAE (30,000 sq ft area). currently we are carrying out business locally plus also have some sources who can supply large quantities of aluminum scraps which come from Europe, and can be used in manufacturing of aluminium ingots . Mohave Arizona it seems to me that 2 of our 4 local scrap yards are pulling the pin a little early in life. either they have made way to much money previously or got to spoiled when the boom was on. 1ml-1.3ml is what i hear they have their places up for sale for. i believe they make their mistakes in the trans. end of it all but who am i?     It amazes me how many people want to get into the scrap metal import/export business and don't have a clue where to start or even what to do. This takes years of building relationships and learning the business. It is NOT easy. I have been in this business for almost 5 years. I have established relationships with several international buyers like Hyundai and Cargill not to mention some smaller resellers. I am about to fly to Chile,( later part of Feb. first part of March) to close on an agreement with a large seller-supplier there. So if you really think this is something you want to do I'll teach you. I'm only looking for one or two students, male, female doesn't matter. This is NOT free but if you are interested let me know ASAP. Do not contact me unless you have time and a small amount to invest into your future. This is a business not a hobby.
