hi. i have an internet cafe in the philippines and running for about 4 years already. i have 17 units + 1 server. you must invest at least 15,000 USD to setup the entire complete units. it also includes the licensed OS/LINKSYS ROUTER/HUB 24PORTS/2 CSS PRINTERS/ TABLES/ SERVER TABLE/ LAN CABLES AND OF COURSE THE SYSTEM IN WHICH WILL run the units. I have also other services such as: xerox/laminating/ photo printing/scanning/pc and laptop repair and optimization/data encoding/research and etc. the shop also includes drinks and snacks sell in the counter. Step 1: Find a good location.
Step 2: Register a good name for your business/ register the proper documents for u to start running it legally.
Step 3: prepare the tables
Step 4: find a cheap supplier that sells quality pc units.
TIP: BETTER TO CUSTOMIZED YOUR PC UNITS FOR U TO MEET THE DESIRED PC U WANT RATHER THAT BUYING A COMPLETE PACKAGE COS IN THE LONG RUN IT WOULD EVENTUALLY LOOSE THE MONEY U INVEST ON IT.
Step 5: find a good stable internet connection that can be suitable for games/browsing/streaming/downloading.
Step 6: set up your units.

Internet cafe is not as lucrative as it used to be due to the availability of mobile technology. If you want to start one,you must be offering more than just internet services or else just do not start. You have to have basic graphic designing skills,good with people,tenacious,willing to learn etc.
To start after you have the premises is to get some tables or fittings for your PC.
2.Get your PCs,Router,Hub and Cables for networking (which we can supply)
3.You need a good printer preferably a laser printer
4.Phone line from Telkom as well as who your ISP(internet Service Provider) will be eg.Afrihost,Mweb,Telkom etc.
