    Hello @Harishnath-9494557363. Emu farmers become aware of benefits of Emu meat and its by products. If you don't find chicks and eggs buyer, you need to produce meet and and by products out of your emu birds and sell them in market. We all know very well that emu oil is good etc. so if we do not able to bring such a good product in to market means this is our inability only. try to think in terms of end products but not to sell your eggs and chicks because every body thinks like you to sell eggs and chicks ultimately. this industry will be a chain link marketing resulting failures. see we are building this industry. if fail in doing this then it will be a miss fortune to this society. best regards G Prabhakar Reddy

    prabhakar garu ok i agree emu farmers knows very well about benefits of emu products only problem is there no awareness in public. if we sell meat bird cost will not come, if you do sell meat we are not spent total expenditure on birds, we spent more amount on land developing and infrastructure and all. we cant get back that amounts with meat. if we extract oil means we have to spend some more and there is no guarantee for marketing of emu oil. for all these we want some time(may be years) and money. until that time no one(farmer) except some land lords can survive. this is fact. ok for your good response

    Sir, its Nayan from assam. recently i heard about this emu farming and i and two of my frnd together want to start a farm in assam. i am still learning about the bird and its business.. but i am still looking for some question..
    1.are the birds need saperate rooms per pairs or they can live together i.e. if i had a 7000sq. ft area then can i keep 20-30 birds together?

    @Mani.... Any product will get marketed only with its quality and customer satisfaction. Our Emu oil by products are best known to everybody about their usages and advantages. Market cannot be developed in one day my dear mani, We have to satisfy our customer. If we develop market in one day, It will certainly collapse like what happened to Emu industry in Thamilnadu.     prabhakar sir, thanks for your moral support. but no farmer have mental and physical and financial strength to survive or continuing like this position until your dreams comes true. i think you know, almost all about 90% of the farmers given the birds to vileena to slaughter by paying 2000/- per bird and bird also. and some are leaving in the forests. there is no hopes to come money from vileena. anyway as you wish we all hope for good days.

    4. hatchery farms are equipped with machinery tools. In other words, how does a new farmer get the eggs hatched through hatching farms?
    5. how does emu bird start hatching process naturally and how long does one take to hatch?
    6. lastly, say, I buy a pair of 3 months chic for Rs. 15000/-. You have mentioned that it reaches maturity age in 18 months. 3-18 months..how much money is usually spendable in terms with feed/medicine etc. to make it profitable during re-sale?
