    @David robert, Hi David: This is Francis, I am located in Honolulu, Hawaii; where are you located? It is good that you have an electrical background; it would be easy for you to do solar installation and maintenance.  The work will entail hooking up each PV panel to a inverter and cut-off switch.  From there to the breaker box and transfer to the local utility.  The utility will require you to be fully licensed to accept your work.  As for PV panels and related installation materials, we may be able to set you up with a distributor.  You may contact me for more information.
