on jan 22, 2013 i slipped and fell on some ice at my home. i went to the er and found that i sprained and bruised my collar bone. they gave me a note to return to work in 3 days. i gave the note to the manager at wawa (where i work) and he said that i had to have a return to work note from an orthopedic dr. i have no insurance and cannot afford the visit. on the 26 of jan, i got a letter from hr stating that i had to sign a paper giving them rights to view my medical records along with a form for my dr to fill out! i am perfectly capable of doing my job. if an er dr says i can return to work, how can they tell me i cant? if i do not have this paperwork to them by feb 13 @1;00 pm, they are taking it as my resignation therefor, i cannot get unemployment. i know it sounds petty but 1 week of no pay and i cant afford to eat!! do they have a right to do this? what can i do?

Family Dollar / NY, I left a good job to go and work for a Family Dollar store in NY. I had no prior knowledge about the company and the DM who hired me made it seem great! I have been with the company for 2 months and I am completely disgusted. They never sent me to their mandatory 4 week store manager training to be trained, I work 70 hours a week many days I work from open to close and sometimes by myself. I unload a 1,000 piece truck by myself. I was scheduled for a dayoff the day after our recent big blizzard and my assistant manager never made it to open the store so i woke up to 30 missed calls on my only dayoff and my district manager said "I dont care if you have to bring your baby to work and have her there all day, if thats what you have to do to open that store thats what your going to do" .. Thank god my assistant manager made it to open the store. I am completely disgusted with this company and feel upset and betrayed. I am over worked and upset I left a good job for this crap. I feel sorry to say this but I feel like a slave to them it is unfair. Can I sue? can I find other managers who feel used and abused as i do? this company expects so much from us we are only human, and whatever we don't get done they are calling and harassing but offer no help when your running on budgeted hours

MEMPHIS, TN: I work overnight and I took a trip to Walmart for my son some lunch food for the week after work. I bought a pack of Colby Jack Big Slices cheese made by Kraft. The cheese has the expiration date of May 11, 2013, which is almost two months from now. I opened the cheese and it is so moldy that there's fur on it. The mold is on every slice. The lettering on the package made it where the mold wasn't visible when I bought it. I am allergic to mold. If I had of touched the moldy cheese It could have caused me harm. Can I sue Kraft?

I went into t-Mobile to replace my phone that i had dropped in water. The retail sales man told me about a promotion they were having on some phones. I ended up adding another line to my contract and 2 new phones. I was quoted a price of $110, i checked my bill yesterday and my bill was at $131. For the past 2 months my bill was $107. I called customer service and i was informed that the guy who sold me the phones didn't calculate things right, so basically it all falls on me. My biggest concern was that i was told a 15% was on my account. Which was a surprise to me, and i asked why did i have that. I was told that the salesman had added a MILITARY Spouse discount. 1. I'm not married 2. I'm not in the military. I was upset at the fact that he added that on my contract without my acknowledgement. I was told my a t mobile employee that this was considered FRAUD. I want to know if i can sue for them altering my information without my approval?!

We bought a Shweppes bottle and after noticed that the wrapper was inside of it, we filed a law suit here in Egypt against Coca Cola the owners of Shweppes but now need to contact the franchise. The law office did the testing on the bottle and found no expiration date as well as it was not safe for human consumption due to the inks on the label in the bottle. Little Raymond's Print Shop, Fresno, Ca. US. I recently left my job because I felt they were not treating me fairly. I started on the job Dec. 2012 knowing nothing about t-shirt printing industry. I signed up for company insurance the 2nd week on the job. They were taking $100 out of my check every payday and I never received a company insurance card. After my 90day probation I didn't receive the probation ending pay raise. I was told the company couldn't afford to give pay raises right now and that I should consider trying to learn the printing machine, where I could make up to $12/hr. I began examining fellow employees who had experience on the machine. Asking a huge amount of questions. Within 2months I was a fulltime printer. I went to my employee asking why haven't I received my pay raise. Again he told me the job couldn't afford to give raises and insisted that I would receive free overtime hrs on each of my checks, stating that he is talking with the company owner daily trying to get me the raise I deserved. Another month went by and I was putting out the most jobs, with the least amount of errors and still didn't receive any overtime that was promised or even a single penny raise. Can u please help me get what I deserve from this company??

Hey, I was wondering if I could sue McDonalds for misrepresentation of products. Their quarter pounder was actually only .23 lbs, and they would NOT give me a refund. That is the kind of bullshit that makes me hate big companies like McDonalds. The same shit happened at home depot. When I asked for 2x4s for a construction project I got wood that was 1.9 in! New York NY: Hi, had a verbal agreement with Person B from company Inspired Authors, LLC based out of Las Vegas, NV. However, Person B resides in California and there is a Person A, who appears to be the owner of said LLC. Our verbal agreement was not honored, there are numerous emails detailing exactly what was agreed upon, the nature of the agreement was to perform work to update a website and to take over development of it. After accumulating $2,100 in charges.. Person A instructed Person B to lock me and my subcontractor out of the computer systems that retained the files we worked on. We were able to confiscate the items due to the computer systems being managed by us too. There was considerable work done and economic loss did occur, as I paid a subcontractor for work that I was not paid for. I am based in New York, person A is based in NY, and Person B in Los Angeles. Now I would personally rather discuss these business calls over the phone or in person but I cannot help that most people prefer to text now days. It's not like this it's a sporadic thing. It happens almost daily. Is this something that I could sue my phone provider over? I think it would be hard to prove but it happens and most people I talk to say it happens to them was well.

Hi I went to Mcdonalds to purchase food n drinks. I bought a hot chocolate n they only served me half of the cup, which was a medium. So I complained n told him it was half of the cup so he said to me to pull up so he could bring me a new one. So I pulled up n waited a good 8 min. He brings it out n I said thank you as I'm drinking it tasted ok so I drank half it. I then open it to check if the whoop cream was melted n I found 2-3 pieces of short black thick her. It kinda looked like mustache hair or hair from your head. So I went back n showed the manager n he said yes it was definitely hair. So all he did was apologized n gave me my refund. 2 dollars ain't nothing compared to what I swallowed. Can I take any legal actions on that?

Sometime last year ( I think in October ) I was on Facebook and watch Dr Oz's video about taking Garcinia pills to loose weight. I want to try the pills so I ordered it online along with the other pills also part of loosing weight stuff. I didn't read the small print that if you don't cancel within a certain amount of time, they will continue to send the pills every month for almost $100.00. But when I ordered the sample it was like $4.95 very cheap. I received it in the mail and took it for a while but then I stopped just didn't feel like it was working for me. Then I received another bottle and finally I called and I told them I can't afford this and I forgot to cancel and they did according to the person I talked to. Then they charged my acct. again and I called my bank and told them that I did not authorized the charges and my bank is helpful and closed that acct. for me. Just recently I noticed that the same company had billed my daughter's college fund acct. /checking acct. 3 times ( 2x in the amount of 87.89 and 3rd was $4.95 ) I'm not sure how they got her acct. number , maybe because my name is with her acct.? Is that legal? Then 2 days ago they sent the diet pills under my daughter's name so technically they sold this diet pills to a 16 yr, old a minor. I called our bank and again they helped us with the charges but the scary part is that they sent this pills to my daughter and she opened it because the package was under her name. Then she showed me and she didn't know what it was and I saw it then I knew it was the diet pills. What should I do? Should I call the company and tell them what they did. Please advice !!

I live in Indiana and somebody that I wrote a check to took the information off my check and I guess made their own and took them to two Macy's in Memphis Tn. and bought over 1800.00 in stuff and it came out of my account. I did report it to the bank and after four day I got my money back. I am under so much stress that they will hit me again. I have so many outstanding checks that have not gone through yet and I am in the process of getting a new bank but loved the one I have been in for over 15 years. I am a senior and on a fixed income and I live in fear this person will hit me again. I contacted a store manager from one of the stores and he said he had video of the person that used the check and I asked him why he did not ask for ID and he said he did not what to hurt the customer and make it easy for them to shop. What about me? This company has done me harm and I am afraid I will be hit again before I get everything transferred into a new account. I can't believe you write a check and somebody takes your numbers and makes their own and ruins your life. I can't eat or sleep for fear it will happen again. I watch my account every hour. I did report it to the Indiana police but they can't help me because it's out of our state.

Arby's, Tucker Georgia... My husband and i went to arbys for lunch 3 weeks ago, we were the only ones on the inside making orders..we made our order and i gave the clerk my debit card, he took the debit card with him, i waited for him to give it back to me but he didnt i figured he will give it back with our food...we waited for our food for 15-20 minutes, finally we got the food and i still stood waiting, he asked if i need something else i said yea my card back he argued that he gave it back to me, we went back and fort at eachother and the mngr looked at the cams and saw that he gave the card to some one at the drive through by the time we cancelled the card the person cleared our acct on hundreds of dollars on gas went grocery shopping booked hotels in Beijing china...and all the clerk and the mngr said is 'sorry we cant do anything about it your lunch is on us" and gave us 2 free sandwich coupons...really!!?? note i just had a newborn 4 weeks prior to that via c-section this put so much stress on me that my cut has not healed yet it got infected...my question is how do i go about suing arbys and making them pay for all the stress and worries we have been through?

I went in to my car dealership to cancel my extended warranty and the employees were very unprofessional with me because I told them I was going to trade in my car. So he trys to sell me on a new car I respectfully declined his offer so he then transferred me to a sales rep. Hit by a car and ended up in the wine shelf with a concussion. I dropped of my last client gift on the On my way home . I have pics medical records, crutches swollen brain and. Injured repaired knee. I know I have a strong case. But since I cancelled the other per supervisor. Ithey litigate and fight out of spite. I asked my friend ) he told me to be descreet not to raise a fkplag . He suggested to file first and then request it to go to fed court where the.empoyer is less protected. Best not anyone from the office even called. Then I was told i could cook my truffle lobster for them at 10am Saturday. These people came to check on me. The Sunday my boss texts me back that I can see any us legal clients or go to their offices. My brother told them not to worry he would do it for them. I got hung out to dry. Oh and no calls back with info I need them to know. And al my boss does it send sum short message. So far none have been to ask tithe active meetings thus week. Who does respond to a money call. I have know them for over 15yrs and now I can't see friends m-f during business hours. So I'm in the hospital and got the fun gift of calling to cancel for Monday lunch. Mean while I was giving the ok to call on my accounts for my last employer. And now Im sure they will fight it. Because the challenge all non competes. There's more but I have gone on enough. I'm seeing my brother in law Friday to discuss it more. But I am so frustrated they haven't even sent my leaving package. I was told today they are working on it. Kinda of funny never had that happen before. Plus they despaired early in the week.

Yesterday I bought Delight International Iced Coffee. No where on the packaging does it tell you the content of the caffeine. I consumed the entire 1.89 L and had to be emitted into the emergency because my heart was reacting negatively to the consumption of the caffeine. I want to sue this company because there is no way to know what is a safe amount of caffeine before "overdose". Thanks.

Most of these people should be ashamed of themselves, trying to sue for bugs found in their drinks etc, maybe the bugs flew in after your order whilst you were in between drinking, leave this space free for people with genuine complaints, not these losers who want to make a quick buck because they do not know how to earn an honest living.

My daughter has a severe allergic reaction from purchasing a chicken wrap @ McDonalds, she specifically sed its on receipt no cheese,no garlic sauce, However she started eating her chicken wrap noticed something orange thinkinit was carrots she continued eating she sed she didn't realize it was cheese, halfway thru she threw it away..by the time she got home7 blocks from McDonalds, Her she was Itchy all Over her body her eyes was swollen & She kept sneezing, I gave her 2 Benadrylls & she took a shower to cool off!! When she laiddown to relax she couldn't Breathe thru her nose, we wound up at the Emergency Room..Her Face was soo swollen!! They took her right in & they took her vitals they put her on Predisone for 3 days!! & Lost 2 days of work!! She was diagnosed with Nose swellin due to severe allergy reaction!! How can I go about sueing McDonalds, For giving her wrong order we still have the receipt, that staights no cheese, no garlic sauce, & The ER Diagnosed Discharge Papers, along with pictures of her allergic reation & copy of prescription!!

hello my name is Wade .a week ago I was drinking a Mt Dew out of the can.I started choking after I took a big drink. I put the can down for my mouth and immediately I stopped choking. I took another drink and the same thing occurred. I poured out the Mountain Dew and there was a piece of plastic stuck to the inside of the can.the plastic from inside of the can was why I was choking me.my wife said it was a good thing that the plastic did not break free because it probably would have killed me. I purchased food from McDonalds last April or may I don't have the exact dates handy but when I bit in the Mc chicken the second bite had a piece of a bone in it and it cracked my tooth and returned t and made a complaint filled out their clams papers and took personal photos and after they finally contacted e after several messages left by myself they said no Sylva was found on the bone jut the bread n chicken so they were responsible and want return my calls.I waited to get y tooth fixed due to the cost and now inhave to pull it and have a parcel and they still refuse to help me. I worked for a restaurant here in Morrisville, NC. I had a misdemeanor on my record from 2009. I was hired at this restaurant in 2011. Apparently they failed to do a background check and I proceeded to work there until 2012. I then moved to Florida and began working at the same restaurant. While working there I was told by a manager "Hey we just got your background check, I was suppose to let you go...but we decided to keep you." So I continued working there from 2013 to 2014. I just moved back up here to NC and went to re-visit my old restaurant. While eating the manager approached me asking me to take my job back. I agreed and they told me they would have to resubmit another background check. They said "As long as nothing has changed since you were employed here we are going to go ahead and put you on the schedule. Call us back Friday to find out your schedule for the week." Friday morning I received a call from the manager saying "Sorry we can not hire you because of the misdemeanor on your record from 2009." I have worked at this restaurant for about three years all together with the same misdemeanor from the time I started. Is this legal to deny me work now?

I have signed an agreement with a Debit Card Company in Ontario, Canada called TapNPay for 5 terminals, but the performance was way below expectations. I have contacted their General Manager but he did not offer to relocate my terminals or improve performance, & when I requested to terminate the agreement he told me that I cannot terminate the agreement before 5 years (although it is clearly stated in the contract that it can be terminated before the end of contract).

I'm from B.C. Canada and have a question about suing Jolen bleach (a cosmetic brand for hair lightening). This product worked for many yrs and used it the same way as always on my upper lip the day it caused me permanent hyperpigmentation right after application which looks like I have a mustach. Ironically I barely had hair there to begin with. This has caused great stress and makes me no longer feel I have pretty days. It's been two yrs of me trying to fix the problem myself, some are unsafe and expensive practices and has done little to no avail. I have written the company and of course haven't heard back. I have googled and have seen I'm not the first person this has happened to, yet there are no warning signs on their packaging that this is a possiblity. Do you think I have a case? I am on a limited budget but am upset with what has happened to me. Thanks for your time.

Hi, im from Malaysia, kuala lumpur. Me and my husband dine in at kenny rogers restaurant and we found maggot in my husband's food. As soon as he realise there was a maggot, we immediately called up the duty manager and complain to him. He just ask for an apology. My husband started vomiting and had stomachache after few hours consuming it.We did went to the clinic and got some medication. I did spoke to the kenny rogers person in charge and they told me that they will provide me some free vouchers to to dine in at the restaurant. We did ask for some compensation but they refused to as they said we did not have any strong evidence. I did provide them the picture of maggot taken during the time we dine in and also we gave them medical report from the doctor as well. please advice me on this matter? can i sue them? should i hire a lawyer?

I HAD OPENED MY COFFEE CREAMER,BAILEYS IRISH CREAM, THIS MORNING & A LARGE PIECE OF PLASTIC WRAPPER WAS IN THE BOTTLE, I DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS IN THERE UNTIL I TOOK A DRINK OF MY COFFEE, I ALMOST CHOKED TO DEATH TRYING TO GET IT UP & OUT OF MY THROAT. I EMAILED THE COMPANY & GOT BACK WITH TO ME IN A MATTER OF MINUTES, THE YOUNG LADY WAS VERY NICE, BUT IS SENDING A PER MAILED PAID BOX OUT FOR ME TO SEND THIS PLASTIC BACK TO THEM, SHE ASKED FOR ALL THE NUMBERS ON THE BOTTLE, WHERE I SHOPPED,DATE,& SO ON. I TOOK A PHOTO OF THIS, SHOULD SEND BACK THE PIECE OF PLASTIC TO THEM OR KEEP IT. SHE SAID THEY WILL REPLACE THE COFFEE CREAMER & SAID SHE WAS VERY SORRY, SHOULD I ASK FOR ANY KIND OF DAMAGES,
