Olive trees, aside from being ornaments, do have cuisine importance. Olive trees produce fruits, called olive, which are the sole source of olive oil. This importance had made olive tree farming one for the most important farming businesses.
The good thing about growing olive trees is that they are not difficult to take care of. They are not that sensitive to changing climate and to soil issues. Olive tree farming typically starts from planting seeds and, from that initial step, it is important to check the quality of the seeds and the soil as well. For if from the beginning the seed and the soil are bad, it is not doubtful to say that you cannot expect good fruits.

For some more tips, olive trees prefer light soil and they should be kept moistened but not soggy and should be enriched with organic fertilizers. The soil plays a vital role in the growth of the tress for they are the main source of nutrients.
In addition, for more fruits to grow, it is best to plant them in place with direct sunlight. Olive trees loves sunlight and they should not be deprived of it for them to be productive. As earlier mentioned, the olive trees are resistant to hot climate but be warned because this may affect the fruit badly so it is best to water them just appropriately.
One of the good points also of growing olive trees is that they are not prone to pests. Harvest time for olive trees is during autumn and winter.
