Certainly, piggery business is one of the profitable business, there is no doubt, one can make money from this business, but before starting, one should have sufficient knowledge about the Nutrition for pig, housing, sanitation and proper marketing strategies and so on. I helped my relatives setup farms, and have found out that pigs eat a variety of green plants which I have predominately used to feed them along with maize bran. I am working in the Katosi region on Lake Victoria in Uganda with a primary school to help the school develop a sustainable piggery enterprise. We have sufficient start-up funds and would like for the enterprise to become self-sustaining after these funds are exhausted.
