I would advice all new aspirants of Saree business to stay away from buying from the wholesale market of Surat unless you dnt have a big investment & a good business plan. The best way to start ur business is invest small and buy from the Mumbai Markets where U get a huge stock of surplus sarees!

If you are planning to buy from Surat , make it sure that you know the dealer personally and dnt trust any agent blindly who may offer u sarees or suit pieces at throwaway prices. A lot of ppl burtn their fingers and wasted their investments by blindly following the SURAT agents and manufacturers
