As u know it is a very good business, because of the profit is unbelievable, if you do the business strictly my advise, regarding sources of materials are very important thing, the profit starting from the starting point, if the purchases are good, I am sure you will get good trader measurement benefit. For example if you purchase granite at a price of Rs.90/Sq ft add Rs. 20/Sq ft as taxes, transportation, loading and unloading etc . so the landing cost is Rs.110/ Sq ft. This material v can sell at the rate of Rs.160 or more depending upon the customers and the ability of the Salesman, so u r getting Rs.50/ as your profit plus u will get the measurement benefits as extra income.

Regarding investment etc. Make a plan to my visit to your place, I shall give you a detailed explanation that is very beneficial for you. Anyway u have to keep minimum 5 to 10 loads of different varieties. One truck should be come Rs.350000 to 750000 depending upon the qualities and quantities.

But pls understand, marble, granites are 100 % natural products, so their life is very very long. Also note that the price difference of little compare to tiles. @Manu In the market survey, now tiles business is good for a trader, but you must understand, the profit was far different. For example, when you sell one sq ft tile, u will get a minimum of Rs.5 profit, but if you sell one sq.ft granite, the profit is minimum of Rs.15 to 40/sq.ft plus measurement benefit from the buyer. Most of these days the Indian tiles industries have expanded their network throughout the country, which means of the demand for vitrified and ceramic tiles. The traders r not getting much profit instead of granite and marble, while one should getting profit for an sq.ft tiles Rupees 2 to maximum Rs.10 also damages are high, but, if u sale 1 sqft granite, you should get minimum Rs.10 nd maximum Rs.50/sq ft. Because there is no fixed price in stones, but!!, the tiles have fixed price. So my opinion is to start a small stone business, step by step the business can be improved.??
