I want to start a computer centre for our school drop outs, grade 10 and 12 learners, teachers, adults and the entire community. The Bright and Key Computer Class are based in Okondjatu. Okondjatu is a rural area which is situated +/- 120 km north east of Okakarara constituency in Otjozondupa Region in Namibia. Okondjatu is a small town with +/- 51 villagers/families and each villages have 10 to 15 homesteads in each homestead there are 5 to 8 people stay at each homestead .It means there are +/- 500 community members in the Okondjatu area.
3. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
- To promote out school drops, grade 10 and 12 learners, teachers and the entire community .To decrease the number of jobless, street kids and theft in our community.
- To improve the knowledge of our people amongst our community, as we know that the living standard is very poor and the cost of goods like food, water , electricity , accommodation and transport cost is very higher and this computer class/school can contribute towards their self upliftment to get employment. The nearest place that has such a facility is in either Okakarara or Okahandja and that is too far away to attend.
- If I start this computer class/school compared to the amount of community members it will be a very profitable business for me as it acquires very low input as I have been approached by the community to start it up, and it will be a long term project.
