I am currently a Cert III Hairdressing Student and am in the process of submitting an assignment on Sustainable Practices For A Hairdressing Business. One of the tasks is to research a product in which I would use in my Salon, if I had one. I am trying to find a Company that may be able to help me out with some information that I need. I would love to research a product, whether it be a Heat Protectant Spray, Shampoo, Conditioner or any product which is not only nourishing and gentle for the client, but also one which is environmentally friendly. There are a few things I need to provide in my assignment which are:-
1) What is its main active ingredient?,
2) How is it manufactured?,
3) How is it used in the salon?,
4) How is it disposed of? (Through waste disposal or drain into waterways, etc.) and
5) Is it re-usable or recyclable?
If you could provide me with this information of any product, preferably a natural product, then I would be very muchly appreciative. @Thanh, you don't need a license or permission to resell online. I've had customers ask my for permission out of courtesy, but it's really unnecessary. Once you buy the product, you are technically free to sell it to whomever you want. That being said, your state (Minnesota) may require you to obtain a sales tax certificate. That would help you avoid paying taxes on goods you resell, and you can then charge taxes on the goods you sell. And you would have to report those taxes you charge on your taxes. Check with your state to see what the laws are.
