Just left my city council meeting where I asked our council to consider invite a dollar general store, dollar tree or a family dollar. I live in Bryson, Texas. 76427. This type of business is much needed. We only have two gas stations servicing a town of around 600. Our town also has liquor and that one store did over a million in volume last year. The closest grocery store, or dollar store is a 26 mile round trip. A gallon of milk in this town has been as high as $5.50 a gallon. We have a brand new school as of last year and that alone is bringing families into this town. We are growing and the two stations just aren't doing the job anymore. Please consider Bryson Texas. There is a large vacant lot at the flashing light, that's the center of town. Please if you have any investors that are looking to branch out please send them our way. Pete Butler

My name is Hugh Mitchum. I live in a community that only has one gas station. During the hours of 5am to 10pm the store stays as busy as a walmart. The small town is in need of a store that offers the everyday essentials that I believe Dollar Genaral offers. The Dollar Generals in the area, but not closer than 7-10 miles seem to stay very busy. This is a business my wife and I have talked about alot. We are very interested in getting some more information on what it would take to make this a reality. Hi, I'm interested in a dollar store to put in current retail space located in south loop area of Chicago. On Roosevelt rd and canal there are several retails stores that have come to the area with parking structures and street parking. The stores in the area are target, and jewel Osco for household items. There's also Home Depot, best buy, pet smart, Marshall's, dsw to name few. Otherwise, how could I charge the great prices that most Dollar Generals charge? If products did cost us more here, (wholesale), how much more, (an estimate.)? Also, are there any Dollar Generals in Alaska? And last, how can we see several (and from varied locations) profit and loss statements?
