My wife and I are loyal patrons, and notice that the stores in this area suffer from a lack of proper management. The grounds and facilities are poorly maintained, customer service is extremely unprofessional, and inventory is often an issue. I would like to open a Dollar General in Chatham, LA. There is only convenient stores here and I believe one do really well. My name is Destinee. I live in an housing addition Called Eagles Point, located between Peru, IN and Kokomo, IN. The homes were originally built to house the military personnel of the Grissom Air Force Base located just next door. Apart from having a Village Pantry Gas Station/Convenience store and a small C store, there are no real stores. No place to purchase affordable household products. Unless you drive 20 minutes toward Peru or 20-30 minutes toward Kokomo. I really think a Dollar General would really profit out here with the civilian patrons and the Air Force personnel. There are also a couple other business that would benefit from a Dollar General being close by so that their employees can stop in before or after work.
