    @mieka， Hi Mieka, and first, you must locate your customers group, and select your target products that you want to buy, i.e. designer shoes or genuine shoes. And then make some small orders to stock, and try to search for more pics you can get and then ask the supplier that whether he or she can provide or produce it for you, for more details, pls feel free to send emails to me.

    Hi Terry is very rare to find people like you willing to help everybody you should be very proud of ur self as i think you are also a very honest person, the reason why i am contacting you is because i was thinking to open a shoes shop in manchester has i have leaved therefor 6 years, but how can i know which area is good to open a business like this, there are so many shops that import shoes from china and other place for very cheap and i dont know if i can compare with that prices, anyway i from italy so i thought that the made in italy is still good, but what i notice is that the people now the first think that they look in a shop is that price and not the quality, i am just not sure about the area, if u know manchester pls i will be more happy to take ur advise, many thanks hope to hear from you soon.

    @shaikh azeem, If you want to start up from a small business, just establish an online store first, and upload the shoes you want to sell by receiving from the supplier or a manufacturer. And I suggest you do retail business first and then wholesale business.

    @rakesh pandav, Have you ever looked some help from the local banks which may provide some policy support to small and medium enterprises?

    @Coba, Hi coba, if you just import non branded shoes from China, it will be no t many bans for you to transport them to US, but for those branded shoes, it will be a little difficult for you to receive them by transportation. But as far as I know, there are lots of shipping agencies who can provide safely transportation from China to US, and maybe you can try to contact with them or ask your supplier to contact their usual shipping agents. Well, the shipping fees from China to US will be ordinarily 20 to 25 USD for 1.5kg products. But as I mentioned just now, those special shipping agents can make it much cheaper for you to receive the shoes, so it depends on.

    hi, I am from Trinidad and Tobago WI....In the past three years I have made 3 trips to Miami to purchase wholesale ladies fashionable shoes and sandals....I enjoyed the experience and loved the hands-on involvement but in the end retailing was not that much profitable ....especially as I do not have a store....effort and time was exhausting....I purchased from one of my suppliers via email correspondence but when the shipment came the order was wrong and shoes had defects.....I built a clientele and they are asking when I am going to bring more shoes. I truly want to open my own store (the name being the same as my email add)...I can not buy from the china market as their Min quantity is usually very high ....I am thinking of a franchise or simply to partner with a supplier to solely promote and sell their shoes....the type of shoes i am looking for is mixture of fashionable...classic...chic....comfortable and affordable shoes....i love the itallian shoes but they are way too expensive for my target market....I do hope you can help me ...i am at my witsend.     To anyone looking at starting ANY business...Get a book on how to write a business plan and then follow the steps...ALL of the steps. The business plan will not only (most likely) be required by any serious investor/lender, but it will also keep you on track when opening your store. It's very easy to start on one subject which you NEED to get done, and end up with all sorts of ideas on something completely different, never accomplishing the initial project.
