Dear Members, After going through each and every member's requirements, on this page, few basic guidelines can help you, to start your courier and logistics business. I would like to thank all of you for sharing your interest in the logistics business,
1) pls focus on which type of logistic would you like to start.
2) how much basic knowledge you have in logistic
3) how much funding is available or you can generate, as you require deeper pockets to have this business to run successfully, operating cost and dead investment takes a major chunk of your funding minimum it takes 3 years of investment, then look at returns as initially you need to only invest, then next 4 and 5th year you start getting marginal return and only after 6 to 7 years you start to break even, if you have tight hold and control of your business.
4) above is quite generalize facts, which needs to be considered.
5) if you procure funds depending on your model of business and which type of logistic functions you would be interested in carrying out.
you require office space, warehouse, space depending on your model of business staff again subject to technology again subject to equipment again subject to
6) type of software you need to procure, etc ?????
7) if you feel its difficult and still you want to be part of logistics and have funds then you can be a franchisee of any big companies.
8) or contact consultants who can make such a business plan, for you.
