    I once had a mini-bus taxi and unfortunately got involved in a accident and it was written off. Then i lost interest in the industry. At the the time of my vehicle's accident, i was operating with a temporary license from the the department of transport as i was on the processes of exchanging the licensee with the previous owner. Now the operating license is still at the transport board. Now i have a renewed interest in this industry again but i dont want to fall under any association mainly because they cheat poeple's money and they dont help them with anything.

    I'm interested in starting a taxi/cab service in my community, which is vastly rural. My question is, how should my rates reflect my distances. Where I'm at least ten miles from the nearest grocery store. I suspect my first set of customers to be elderly and by word of mouth.
