I have over 50 acres of fertile farm land in the southeastern part of sierra leone, around the Daru area. I am in Pietermaritzburg, KZN in South Africa. Currently I am teaching and growing vegetables on large scale is one of my subjects. I grew up in a farm and that is how I develop the love of farming especially piggery as I was hands on. My aim is to buy an already running farm with piggery or dairy. What is good in South Africa is when buying an operating farm, the previous owner should mentor you at least for six months then you can be left on your own as an emerging farmer with operating expertise from the commercial farmer. I am also attending some training in pig farming and also have completed entrepreneurship skills offered by the ABSA and ITHALA banks through SEDA from the Government. That is why I am confident that I can start at any given time.
