I would appreciate any and all literature on how to open a doughnut shoppe in a small town. I like the idea of the smell of fresh doughnuts baking and the smell of coffee in the morning, which will help bring in customers. Please advise of the equipment I need and what the best location of a shop would be in a small town. Respectfully appreciated, Deborah C Lucy

To all of you interested in having a donut shop. You could be thousands of dollars ahead to buy an existing donut shop. Also, a business with a proven cash flow will be much easier to finance than a start-up. Turnover on donut shops is fairly high because of the hours involved. I have an established donut shop/bakery for sale in North Central Iowa. If interested, contact me danwkrauth@hotmail.com.

my town has no doughnut shop. the local grocery store has a deli with less than desirable donuts and they do not have what we want. we have to drive 50 miles and hope to find what we are looking for. we have all kind of mexican restaurants here but no donuts!!! our kids would like something new and i want to give to them what i enjoyed as a kid. i thought that a donut/sandwich shoppe would be ideal, please help me find a grant or sba to get started.
