Let me know what kind of product you want to store in cold store , mainly in your area market is of potato . In case of potato we store in bulk . It is very important to take a decision that you want just cold storage or complete cold chain for other product which are different from bulk storage.

If you want to keep primary modality, colour & lustre, taste, quality and nutrition, according to physiological characteristics of the fruit, you are to go for Controlled Atmosphere (CA) store.Project cost for such cold store is very high. Present project cost you can calculate as Rs.35,000/- per metric tonne.

@Yogesh, as per the interest you can set  up  cold store , but before that you have to do survey of market , market is good for cold store where you have either good incoming of fruit and veg , producing or harvesting area , or consumption point , let me know the product you want to store and investment you will do,

@Vinod Gurjar, You will not get subsidy for bunker coil system  , cost of cold storage depends on the product you want to put in store and depends on various factor as per govt norm it is Rs six thousand per MT

@amandeep, It depends on the product you want to put , the viability will only come for the project well planed for full year product loading , please choose the product you want to store carefully , subsidy is important factor in setting up cold storage
